Aviva Peltin is a screenwriter based in the Seattle area who specializes in female-driven romantic comedies about women whose best-laid plans fall hilariously apart.

Aviva has signed two shopping agreements and optioned her first feature screenplay. Her feature, TWINSIES, won Best Comedy at the Southwest Film Productions Competition and received a 7 on the Black List. She was selected as a 2024 Green Room member by the Northwest Screenwriters Guild, and her scripts have consistently placed in competitive industry contests, including ScreenCraft, Launch Pad, Stage 32, and Female Voices Rock. She is repped by Seth Nagel.

She is also the co-host and producer of When Isabel Met Aviva, a top 5% globally ranked podcast dedicated to female-driven screenwriting and romantic comedies. Across more than 60 episodes, she has interviewed over 45 guests, including the screenwriting heroes behind beloved hits like YOU'VE GOT MAIL, HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS, BRING IT ON, and ANYONE BUT YOU.

In 2025, Aviva launched Good Time Gals, a production company dedicated to making sparkly, rewatchable films. Through Good Time Gals, she recently wrote and produced the short film, WE SUCK IN A GOOD WAY (currently in post-production), and is developing a proof of concept for her feature, SIGNIFICANT MOTHERS, a romantic comedy set on Bainbridge Island, WA.

Aviva holds a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a Master of Communication in Digital Media at her alma mater, where her multimedia work was recently recognized with the Best Audio Story Award at the 2026 Screen Summit.
